Theresa P. Lazaro met with Count Jacques Rogge, President of the
International Olympic Committee (IOC), during her visit at the IOC
headquarters in Lausanne.
During the meeting, President Rogge conveyed
IOC's congratulations to Mr. Jose S. Conjuangco, Jr., re-elected
President of the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC). There were
discussions on POC's plan to upgrade its management organization and
IOC's willingness to support POC's proposed project to establish an
ideal training center outside the metropolis to train Filipino
athletes. |
